About our Presenter:
Tom Shanahan
President, Shanahan Leadership Strategies, Inc.
Tom's extensive career includes serving as Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management and Executive Education at NRCA, where he oversaw programs on leadership and risk management. He continues to direct the NRCA's Future Executives Institute, a prestigious award-winning three-year program for roofing contractor leadership held at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management until the end of this year, and has since retired to start Shanahan Leadership Strategies, Inc., where he consults and provides strategic guidance to the next generation of industry leaders.
Shanahan and his wife, Kathy, have three children and four grandchildren. His outside interests include playing flute—he was a flute performance major at Roosevelt University, Chicago, IL—and the DIY renovations and repairs to their 90+ year-old home.
