Introduction to Roofing for Students

Take our Introduction to Roofing Course for recent high school graduates (and other qualified individuals) and gain valuable knowledge that will put you at the top of the list of job candidates for local roofing contractors to hire.  This course is a 5-day intensive course, of which 70% is hands-on installation techniques and training.

CRA IS OFFERING 16 PAID SCHOLARSHIPS TO RECENT OR UPCOMING HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES

What are the requirements?

  • Minimum age of 18
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must attend a 1-week Introduction to Roofing Training Course (June 12-16, 2017)
  • Physically able to do the work— roofers work outdoors, year-round and roofing requires good balance, physical stamina & strength, unafraid of heights. Must have endurance to perform lifting up to 60 pounds, stooping, bending and other activities throughout the day.
  • Submit application by May 31, 2017.
