Tile Training

Designed for Colorado’s Unique Tile Roofing Needs 

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Roof Tile Advanced "THE SYSTEM"

CRA’s Roof Tile Course will review and train participants in all aspects of the roof tile system as it applies to Colorado and our unique conditions. Roof tiles have been installed in Colorado since the early 1900s, and over time “The System” has evolved to meet current code standards, manufacturers’ installation guidelines, specific climate considerations, roof slopes, underlayment systems, and the roof tiles being installed.

This course begins with pre-estimate and proposal requirements that lay the foundation for the system, then reviews the materials and methods needed to complete it. The course will also include hands-on training in the shop, where appropriate equipment and hand tools will be used, and safety hazards along with proper safety practices and techniques will be demonstrated.

Make the commitment to take someone out of the field for two days—we’ll train your team members on new skills, “The System,” and how to build stronger roof tile knowledge.

*Course Prerequisite*

Student(s) enrolling in this course must have met one of the following prerequisites to attend this advanced class:

1. Successfully completed the Introduction to Roofing course

2. Have a written statement from employer that affirms student has 6-months related on-the-job field experience in tile roofing.

By registering to attend a class at the CRA Training Center, you CONFIRM and ACCEPT the following terms, conditions, and policies.

Terms and Conditions:   Payment is required prior to class. 

Class Changes and Cancellations:  A class will be closed when it reaches its maximum enrollment, so register early. The CRA Training Center reserves the right to cancel any course in the event of insufficient enrollment. Course cancellations will be made at least one week prior to the course start date. Students enrolled in a cancelled class are entitled to a full refund.

         Refund Policy: If a cancellation notice is received in writing 7 calendar days           prior to the start of the course, a full (100%) refund will be issued within                   two weeks from the date of cancellation. No credit will be given for                         partial classes/sessions taken.

         Late Cancellation Policy (Less Than 7 Days’ Notice):

                *Cancellations made within 6 calendar days of the class start date are                        non-refundable.

                *If a participant is unable to attend, a substitute from the same                                    company may attend in their place at no additional charge. Please                            notify us in advance of any substitutions.

     No-Shows:

• Registrants who do not show up for a class and do not provide written notice at least 7 calendar days in advance will forfeit the full registration fee.
• No refunds or credits will be issued for no-shows.
